The hive mind of a place-conflicted New Yorker
Rocks or no rocks, the Hall of Minerals is one of my favorite places to pass a super hot day in New York City. It is super air conditioned and dark, and the carpeted “seats” (that are highly reminiscent, to me, of a 70s-era romper room) are the perfect place to sneak a quick nap. Definitely worth the price of admission.
